Any journey can be booked privately, on your dates, for you alone or for your own group. Dilan also plans journeys to other parks and seasons in Sri Lanka, Africa and the Americas around the species you most want to see.

Before you travel
How many people travel on a journey?
Small groups only: up to four guests on Sri Lankan journeys, so everyone has a window seat in the jeep, and up to six elsewhere. Every journey can also be booked privately for you alone or your own group.
Do I need professional camera equipment?
No. A camera with a telephoto lens of around 400 to 600 mm is ideal for wildlife, but Dilan will advise on what to bring, whatever your level, and guests who simply want to watch are welcome too.
What is included in the price?
Accommodation, meals in the field, private vehicles, park and permit fees, local guides and Dilan’s guidance throughout. International flights, travel insurance and personal expenses are not included. Each journey page lists the details.
When should I book?
The best seasons fill early, so six to twelve months ahead is wise for fixed departures. Private journeys can often be arranged at shorter notice. Send an enquiry and Dilan will tell you what is possible.
